Starflyer operates a carbon off-setting scheme. This allows customers to pay to offset the effects of their journey. The money raised helps fund projects around the world that reduce the amount of carbon emitted.
At the time of booking a flight with us, customers are given the option to offset their journey. Contributions are calculated based on the volume of carbon dioxide the flight produces and the cost of carbon credits per tonne.
All payments made go towards certified carbon emission projects.
In addition to balancing CO2, the projects we have chosen also bring social and economic benefits to the communities in which they are based.
